Costco NW Omaha
McAninch worked with RPL Utility and Linhart Construction under the leadership of Novak Construction on the 37-acre Costco project in northwest Omaha, NE. The mass grading portion of the project required 400,000 CY of topsoil stripping and cut to fill. It also included over excavation and cement stabilization of the Costco building pad, gas station pad, grading of several other lots for future development, grading the public roadway that runs through the project as well as excavating for the four retaining walls. The utility portion of the project included installing 1,200 LF of sanitary sewer, 3,500 LF of storm sewer and 1,800 LF of Ductile iron water main.

At one point in the project, we were working so efficiently that we moved 302,274 CY of dirt in 22 days which breaks down to 13,740 CY per day!
