Le Grand West

Cessford Construction and McAninch Corporation teamed up on a limestone production facility in Le Grand, IA. With our design build approach, we were able to apply Cessford's design specifications and a few value engineering principles to create a concept of the 80-acre site. Design qualities of the project include screening berms, safety berms, haul road from pit to production pad, wash pond, scale house corridor and 30-acre production pad. 

We moved over 320,000 CY of dirt, prepped the pad and haul road to receive 50,000 tons of rock surfacing, as well as prepped the scale house corridor for HMA and rock surfacing.
